MOEM (Increase Motivation and Improve Employability)

MOEM is a project funded by the European Commission. Six partners from: Germany, Holand, Island, Italy, Spain and Poland (all active in social cooperation and/or vocational rehabilitation and training of disadvantaged people) will work under the Lifelong Learning Programme, Leonardo.

The main purpose of the project is to encourage equality in access to employment for disadvantaged groups eg. immigrants, low-skilled people.

The Partnership is focused on the topic strengthening entrepreneurial skills and intercultural competences within the group of unemployed people to help people to find out own interests and to develop motivation to start studying again or to find ways to get a new job. In addition to teaching and strengthening the entrepreneurial skills within the group of Unemployed, the partners will work out appropriate methods to promote intercultural competences. The material can be used in trainings and job placement for Unemployed and will be published in a practical guide.

At the conclusion of the project a practical guide for trainers and consultants will be presented with the indication of appropriate methods, results and recommendations, as well as a draft program for a future European-level training course (IST Grundtvig / Leonardo mobility).
